The story is about a little wave, bobbing along in the ocean, having a grand old time. He's enjoying the fresh air -- until he notices the other waves in front of him, crashing against the shore.

"My God, this is terrible,' the wave says. Look what's going to happen with me!"

Then along comes another wave. It sees the first wave looking grim, and it says to him; "Why do you look sad?" 

"You don't understand! We're all are going to crash! All of us waves are going to be nothing! Isn't it terrible?!"

The second wave says: "No, you don't understand. You're not a wave, you're a part of the ocean"


It's natural to die. The fact that we made a big hullabaloo over it is because we don't see ourselves as part of the nature. We think because we're human we're something above nature. 

He smiled at the hibiscus plant.

We're not. Everything that gets born, dies.


I just literally cried from reading "Tuesday With Morie" by Mitch Albom. A very good friend of mine Irene was reading it the other day. She kindly lends me the book, while she's currently reading another book "First Phone Call from Heaven", also written by Mitch Albom.

What a great cry.
What a great book.
What an awesome life lessons.
